Through Kansei engineering, we study stimulating all your senses, the perceived subjective impressions and reviews of some objects, environments, or situations. Based on this methodology, we develop technology tools for the measurement of sensations, emotions, and psycho-physiological, behavioral, and cognitive responses to some objects, environments, or situations. Through Kansei engineering, we identify ways to connect the psychological needs of the user, with any sort of development (product, service, etc.), meeting their needs.

To meet these goals, we make use of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT's). In particular we use virtual environments to represent the "users Kansei", and this way generates emotional developments focused on the user.

Kansei engineering combined with new technologies will allow understanding much better the needs of the users. Our line of research focuses on Virtual Kansei Engineering (VKE), which is the result of the integration of Kansei Engineering and Virtual Reality, resulting in a powerful tool to move the user to virtual environments, which can be directly manipulated, meeting their needs, and helping in the selection of a product or service.

In addition, we also offer to industry standards relevant to their production and sales processes, and the opportunity to innovate through technological developments affective.
