Dr. Zaragozá is an Assistant Professor at University of Valencia. Dr. Zaragozá’s career began in 2004 during the last year of Computer Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, when she received a grant from the Ministry of Education and Science. The following year, after finishing her degree, she was awarded a scholarship at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, as research staff in charge of several national and European projects, where she began to develop her doctoral thesis.

In 2009 she started a new stage as a full time researcher at the Carlos III Institute, within the CIBER groups (Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red) dependent on the Ministry of Science and Innovation. Specifically in the thematic area in Physiopathology of Obesity and Nutrition, in the group led by LABPSITEC, CIBERobn CB06/03/0052, which aims to treat and prevent childhood obesity through psychological intervention mediated by ICTs.

Finally, she joined the University of Valencia as a professor in September 2022.

Her areas of interest are focused on the development of technologies applied to Clinical and Health Psychology, especially in children and elderly population. Her work has consisted in the development of eHealth applications in different technologies: virtual reality, augmented reality, use of mobile devices and internet. Her interest is now focused on the field of artificial intelligence, to provide intelligent capabilities to online treatment systems (Web and mobile) to improve the effectiveness and adherence of online treatments.
