Degree in Psychology (1996), obtained the degree of doctor (2004) (extraordinary prize) at the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón.

From 1999 to 2005 Senior Research Technician at the Universitat Jaume I. Associate Professor at the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón (2008-2010), Associate Professor at the Catholic University of Valencia (UCV) (2010-2018) and currently Full Professor at the University. Teaching in Masters, such as Official Master General Health Psychology of the Universitat Jaume I, MOPGS of the Catholic University of Valencia (UCV). Multidisciplinary Master of Intervention on Eating Disorders and Personality Disorders at the University of Valencia, Expert Course in Child and Adolescent Psychopathology at the UJI.

Psychologist Specialist in Clinical Psychology in 2009, member of the Psychological Assistance Service of the Universitat Jaume I from 1997 and from 2001 to 2018 has worked as Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Coordinator of the Day Hospital for Eating Disorders and Personality of PREVI Castellón.

He has directed 9 doctoral theses, and author of numerous articles published in the Journal Citation Report of the Web of science. He has participated in 22 research projects, 3 as Principal Investigator. His main lines of research are the assessment, psychopathology and treatment of eating disorders and borderline personality disorder.

He is a trainer and clinical supervisor of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ED, and for Emotional Disorders, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Sense-Based Therapy.
