Rosa Lorente Català is a PhD in Psychology and postdoctoral researcher at Universitat Jaume I (UJI). She graduated in Psychology from the University of Valencia and has complemented her training with specialization in clinical psychology, including obtaining a Master’s degree in General Health Psychology at Universitat Jaume I and a Master’s degree in Integrative Therapy by AIGLE.

She began her professional career in the Addictive Behaviors Unit of the Picassent Penitentiary Center, where she identified the need to expand her knowledge in Evidence-Based Treatment (EBT) and bring it to the population.

Her dissertation and current research focus on Implementation Science, with the purpose of integrating EBT into care services to address various psychological problems, especially depression and self-harm. In addition, he has directed his attention to care settings such as Primary Care and Prisons.

An essential component of her scientific development is the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to facilitate the application of scientific advances in clinical practice. She also collaborates in projects related to transdiagnostic treatments, the management of emotional disorders, and “wise” interventions.

As for her teaching work, she works in the area of Personality, Assessment and Psychological Treatment within the Department of Basic, Clinical and Psychobiology Psychology. In addition, she participates in activities of assessment, diagnosis and individual and group psychological treatment in the Psychological Assistance Service (SAP) at Universitat Jaume I.
