Dr. Jaén completed a degree in Psychology at the Universitat Jaume I (2008-2013) and, subsequently, two master’s degrees at the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón: Official Master’s Degree in Psychopathology, Health and Neuropsychology (2013-2015) and University Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology (2018). She has recently obtained the diploma of university expert in Applied Statistical Methods (2023).
An important line of research in his career, which is related to the topic of his doctoral thesis, is the study of emotional regulation and fear of pain through peripheral psychophysiological correlates. In addition to her training in basic psychology processes, she has had much interest in Clinical and Health Psychology, leading her to participate in other lines of research related to emotional disorders and chronic pain management. Thus, she obtained a Margarita Salas post-doctoral contract in 2023 with the project Development, integration and feasibility of an Ecological Momentary Intervention PPP for chronic pain. In addition, Dr. Jaén has participated in care activities of assessment, diagnosis and individual and group psychological treatments from 2015 to 2023 at the Psychological Assistance Service (SAP) of the Universitat Jaume I, recognized as a health center of the Valencian Community (registration number 12.696).
She currently works as Assistant Professor at the University of Zaragoza and her line of research focuses on the development of Ecological Momentary Interventions in different areas related to health.
