Daniel Campos is a permanent professor (PPL) in the area of Developmental and Educational Psychology in the Department of Psychology and Sociology at the University of Zaragoza (Faculty of Education).

He is currently a member of the mental health research group at the Aragon Health Research Institute (IISAragón) and a collaborating member of Labpsitec.

The main lines of research are focus on information and communication technologies for psychological intervention and well-being improvement, the application and evaluation of mindfulness- and compassion-based interventions in health and education contexts, and teaching innovation.

As part of the Labpsitec group, among other achievements, I obtained a two-year postdoctoral research contract at the University of Valencia (UJI), funded by the Generalitat Valenciana (APOSTD/2018/055) leading the project “Compassion Therapy for Well-being: Development of an Online Intervention.” Within this research group, I developed the internationally recognized doctoral thesis “The Effectiveness of a Computerized Treatment Applied Over the Internet for the Treatment of Flying Phobia: A Controlled Study,” funded by a VALi+d predoctoral fellowship awarded to the researcher by the Generalitat Valenciana. I obtained the extraordinary doctoral award and the highest grade of “excellent cum laude.”
