María Palau Batet has a degree in Psychology and completed the Master in General Health Psychology at Universitat Jaume I. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Psychology at the Universitat Jaume I since 2019 under the mentorship of Dr. Soledad Quero and Dr. Juana María Bretón López.

Her research area is focused on the application of new Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in psychological treatments. Specifically, her line of research is focused on the improvement of exposure therapy for specific phobias. His main objective is to investigate the feasibility, effectiveness and optimization of the use of this technology in exposure therapy for cockroach phobia and the practical and clinical advantages that this technology brings compared to the usual treatment.

In addition, he has several years of clinical experience and performs online psychological therapy for emotional problems in his private clinic.
