PERSONALITY DISORDERS
OBJECTIVE
The goal is the improvement of psychological treatments for personality disorders and more specifically for borderline personality disorder and other problems in which there is pervasive emotional dysregulation. The ultimate goal is the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based therapy for these problems to improve the quality of life of affected individuals.

RELEVANT MILESTONES AND APPLICATIONS
Dr. Garcia-Palacios is a reference in our country in the treatment of one of the most complex mental disorders, borderline personality disorder. Since 2003, year in which she was trained in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), one of the treatment programs that has proven to be most effective for this problem, one of her objectives has been the adaptation and implementation of this therapy in Spain and the training of therapists.
