GEOTECHNOLOGIES

OBJECTIVE

During the last few years, the research groups Laboratorio de Psicología y Tecnología (LABPSITEC) and GeoSpatial Technologies Research Lab (GEOTEC) have collaborated in the development of technologies at the service of psychological interventions. Through these interventions it is possible to monitor the patient, process, analyze data and intervene in the user’s behavior at the moment, with therapeutic content of interest.

In this line of research, we intend to go a step further and develop psychological interventions to support just-in-time therapeutic components (JIT) based on the functionality of AwarNS and using more advanced technology alternatives through an application called Symptoms. Studies have been conducted for anxiety disorders and non-toxic addictions and preliminary results are very positive.
